Assisting your child at home
All students complete push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, mountain climbers and static stretches during each PE class. They continue to improve their technique and form through constant perfect practice. At home parents can encourage and help their progress by challenging them to do all the exercises on their days off from PE. Please use the videos and graphics on this page to help you guide your child in completing these exercises and stretches with proper form. Remember, just a 5-10 minute stretching and workout routine each day will significantly increase your child’s endurance and muscle flexibility. You can use all of these videos at home to assist your child and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
